Countryside Days - Schools Out

Mid-June saw two hectic but successful Countryside Days at Harrogate, a partnership event with Dales Countryside Museum. Thousands of school children from across Yorkshire and beyond converged on the Great Yorkshire Showground to enjoy an action-packed day of fun and education at the annual Countryside Days. Schools Out ran five workshops of hands-on living history activities each day and received very positive feedback. This event provides opportunities to engage harder-to-reach schools from further afield, as well as good networking opportunities. We will be back next year and we might even dress up!
