About the tutor
Yorkshire born and bred, John is a trained graphic designer.
He has his own illustrative style that uses strong line drawings, usually in ink, with watercolour washes applied in varying degrees to focus the viewer's eye.
Largely self-taught, he doesn’t consider himself a painter, but uses the unpredictable yet exciting medium of watercolour to highlight his drawings.
John runs many workshops and classes, his work is in many private collections and he is an active Urban Sketcher.
