Participants will explore Wharfe wood and its woodland flora with the course leader. The course is focused on identification of ancient woodland indicators (and other flowering plants) and is designed to give the beginner a basic understanding to be confident to explore woodlands and their flora. The course will be an informal walk around the woods with opportunities to ask questions about woodland management techniques and ecological surveys.

Unfortunately, Chloë Lumsdon has had to withdraw from running this course. However, Naomi Dalton has kindly stepped in.
