New Ribblehead Visitor Centre and exhibition opens

The exhibition describes the building of Ribblehead Viaduct and Blea Moor tunnel and what life was like for the workers and their families.

An all-terrain powered wheelchair is opening up the foothills of Ingleborough, including the UK’s only fully wheelchair accessible showcave, to people who have difficulty walking.

New Tramper Provides Access for All to Ingleborough Cave

The chair, known as a tramper, is available free of charge by pre-arrangement from the entrance to the Ingleborough Estate Nature Trail in Clapham, the gateway to some of the Yorkshire Dales National Park’s finest limestone scenery.

A quick demo and full explanation of artist and tutor John Harrison’s techniques and methods will be given to guide you. John will offer advice and help as needed throughout the session.
