Walking with Stories

This course has been designed specifically for leaders of guided walks. It is a practical course on the basics of putting together a guided story walk. Content will cover how to research a story walk, how to develop and find stories, basic story telling skills and tips on engaging a family audience.

Overground Underground Festival

The Overground Underground Festival is being part-funded through Stories in Stone, an ambitious scheme of conservation and community projects concentrated on the Ingleborough area. The scheme has been developed by the Ingleborough Dales Landscape Partnership, led by Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust, and is mainly funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.


The Erratic Boulders of Norber and a Secret Dale (Run by YDNPA)

A walk to the Norber Erratics – huge boulders carried here by an Ice Age glacier. We will visit Nappa Scar to see evidence of an ancient sea.
